Daimonji Fire Festival

The Daimonji Fire Festival in Kyoto on August 16, 2015. The lighting of the "dai" character the mountainside, as well as four other characters on mountainsides around the city, help guide the spirits of the ancestors back to their resting places after visiting family during the Bon Festival.
